Dr Mia graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2010.

She undertook a variety of Hospital Placements in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, as well as extended rural placements prior to completing her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Mia has completed a Diploma in Child Health, a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Diploma in Dermatology.

My career in medicine started in 2012 after graduating from Moscow, Russia. Although I was an emergency medicine trainee who has transitioned to General Practice, I firmly believe good primary care is the backbone of the health care system.

I enjoy spending my free time at home or somewhere quiet with my loved one, reading, cooking, watching movies, or even talking about finances.

I am currently an Emergency Medicine Registrar working toward my Fellowship of ACEM. I have experience in most aspects of Emergency medicine, including Paediatric Emergency. In addition to providing care, I am also passionate about investing time in improving the health literacy of my patients.
When not held up in a busy Emergency department, I find enjoyment in fast cars, fishing, reefing, and camping (in that order)

Pharmacist

As a pharmacist, I enjoy using my knowledge to help people understand the medicines they take and how they should be used for optimum health. My experience in the pharmaceutical industry spans over 11 years, including both rural and urban pharmacies. A few years ago, I owned a pharmacy in the Brisbane CBD, and in 2018, I was named Managing Pharmacist of the Year.

When I’m not working, I like to take my family on hiking trips around National Parks and beaches along the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. My two daughters keep me busy and teach me the importance of having fun, being active and using my imagination.
